Got my Timber Croc a few weeks ago.
So far I have only used it twice, for 2-3 hours each time but it has been brilliant.
I have seen some people ask how it deals with bendy wood. I would say it works close to perfectly. Most of the timber I cut is from fallen trees around my fields. This is a mixture of sycamore, ash and thorn. They come in all shapes and sizes. With some of the smaller pieces, or the really bendy stuff you have to be careful how you set it up, but if done properly it works well, in a way I couldn’t do on my own with a conventional saw horse.
Very sturdy, worth every penny and feels like it will last for years.
Not the cheapest by any means, but given how good it is I have already forgotten the price!
Your firewood rack delivers the promised quality; the design is so good that my 75-year-old neighbor, who is a welder, made a copy of it in stainless steel.
Very happy with delivery and product, though I would’ve thought all metal would be galvanised, not just parts of it.
Bought the Timber Crog Log Holder tot cut 30cm pieces for the woodstove/fireplace in my home.
Small or thick, it works great. Surprisingly stable.
One small thing: I do wonder why the diagonal supports are not galvanised bu painted green !?
Great product.
Saw the drop-side logging trailer at the Royal Welsh Show and thought it perfect for our small holding. We're not disappointed - the quality is excellent and we're really looking forward to putting it through it's paces. The Timber Croc is a great design and perfect for making holding and cutting wood easier.
Hi Mark, thank you for your fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear you're pleased with the Timber Croc trailer and look forward to seeing it in action on your holding.
